PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK PRIVATE EXCURSION

Plitvice Lakes National Park was founded in 1949, and in 1979, UNESCO declared it one of the first in the world to be a world natural heritage. They are on the 3rd place in CCN's list of the most beautiful lakes and waterfalls.

Plitvice consists of 16 large and small lakes of turquoise color that flow from one to the other with many magnificent waterfalls and thus in a length of 5460 meters as the crow flies. Because of their uniqueness, they are called the Land of Falling Lakes and the Land Where Stones Grow.

Recommended itinerary

 1. departure from Rabac – (pick up Girandella meeting point, in front of Bellevue and San Fior hotels), shorter stops on the way to Plitvice

 2nd arrival at Plitvice - Tour of the park with a guide approx. 4 hours. system with a series of waterfalls between the lakes. At the end of the lower lakes there is the most impressive waterfall 78 meters high called Veliki slap or Plitvice waterfall. During your stay at Plitvice Lakes, you will have the opportunity to experience a 30-minute boat ride across the largest emerald green and blue lake called Kozjak.

3. Return to Rabac with stops. Possibility of an organized lunch in a local restaurant (Optional)
